Dear Queens United Community . . .

TOSHA-LYN FRANCIS, PRINCIPAL

Consistent access to equal opportunities and equity in resources has been a long-standing issue in our community.  While there have been many victories in the fight for equality by countless pioneers, there is still much work to be done.  Therefore, during this time of national reckoning regarding racism and systemic prejudice, Queens United reaffirms our belief in education as a powerful equalizer and our belief in every student’s right to an education of the highest quality.  Since my leadership started in July 2018, the Queens United Team has worked to rectify systemic inequities by preparing our students for limitless opportunities regardless of race, language, gender, disability, and socio-economic status.  Your consistent partnership toward this goal is one of the best ways to show that the lives of all children of color do indeed matter.
